Thank you to all the nurses, respiratory therapists, environmental services employees, and teams who worked with us on the COVID Green ICU as we transitioned to the new EMR and its inevitable hiccups. It was a tough week, and we could not have done it without everyone's help!

Thank you for each day that you stand up for science and the value of research in these chaotic times of unrest and disbelief in basic science. I salute you and appreciate the good work that you do that helps all of us as interconnected beings.

THANK YOU to all the hard working staff and Residents of AGDC in Community Dentistry. It is a well known fact that we are in the most dangerous jobs. ( Dental Hygiene #1, Dentist #5, Dental Assistant #7) Our clinic (though it may be a bit crazy with all the changes) is a BIG happy Family who all works together like a supportive TEAM should. So keep on smiling behind the mask and Darth Vader N-95 gear we wear. Just know as we emerge from our gear with no makeup and jewelry on and really smashed and sweaty hair from the extreme heat of all the gear, (Note to Physical Plant: PLEASE turn down the A/C!!) Always remember you are all beautiful people with precious hearts of gold. YOU are the best dental TEAM I have ever worked with in my 30 years at UTHSCSA. I could not be more proud to be a part of the UT system. I will miss all of you when (if) I ever retire!!
