As a retired employee of UTHSCSA, I am so proud and thankful for everything you all are doing. You have aligned yourselves and each other in order to research, discover and create potential solutions and cures for Covid-19. I’m sure the hours and efforts you are putting in these days are both difficult yet rewarding. And the clinical and staff folks who are on the front lines are our heroes who put themselves at risk, truly go above and beyond in so many ways. Thank you and God bless you for all that you do to protect us. Jerry York VP&CIO (Ret.)

I appreciate EVERY individual who allows themselves to possibly be exposed each day they are working. This threat is invisible and can possibly be anywhere. Every patient, regardless of their diagnosis, is grateful that we have educated & devoted people available to us for diagnosis & treatment.

Of your own volition and unselfish willingness to put the needs of others before your own, please know your actions are not unnoticed. A world void of health care workers like you would be an even scarier place for mankind. Your altruism proves indeed that superheroes DO exist. Like those of us fortunate to work in the safety of our own homes, protected from COVID 19, we hope that all the PPE you and your team ever need is in ample supply. May your family's worries for your safety be lessened in the knowledge that they too are in our thoughts. Thank you again heroes and may God bless us all and our little planet that is home. Be safe & well America!
