Thank you to all who work at UT Health from the person who takes our temperature as we walk in the door before we get on the elevator during the pandemic, schedulers, nurses and PAs. I moved here a little over two and a half years ago from the coast of Texas. Dr. Roger Lyon, hermatology/hematologic malignancy, of Texas Oncology recommended Dr. Neela Patel before I moved here. Both have remarkably helpful staff also. Dr. Pateel recommended Dr. Alexandriah Alas, urogynocologist, and she recommended Dr. Ahmed Mansour Elkenany and Dr. Patrick Snyder. God bless each and everyone who works for UT Health San Antonio.

Thanksgiving is a time for gratitude. We are grateful for all the good that we have experienced this year, from food to family to moments of joy. We are also grateful for the strength that has enabled us to confront profound challenges in our lives, our country and around the globe. Thanksgiving echoes the Jewish value hakarat hatov--recognizing the good--you are the good--from American Jewish world service

To all the medical staff and frontline workers that know better than to excuse COVID-19 as something to not be afraid of, THANK YOU! Only through the diligence of mask wearing, can we all do our best to stay safe and healthy from this novel coronavirus. Our essential and frontline workers everywhere deserve our best efforts in return to keep them safe. Wearing a mask takes such little effort but shows such great appreciation for them.

Thank you to UT and all the staff, whether you work in patient care, information technology, facilities and operations, executives, research or as a business professional / administrative support and law enforcement. Working together as a team to ensure the safety for each other and everyone out in the community who has chosen to receive services and care from UT during this Covid pandemic. Everyday counts as a blessing and as we look back after this has passed, we will all be able to smile knowing we gave our all.
