Dr. Barbara Taylor, Infectious Disease, is the co-leader of the city’s asymptomatic COVID-19 testing program.

Dr. Taylor worked alongside Dr. Anita Kurian, assistant director of Metro Health, and medical students. Their field work was aided by the San Antonio Fire Department and completed in less than a week.

About 50 asymptomatic people were tested at random in each of the city’s 10 council districts last week.
