UT Health San Antonio medical staff is using telemedicine to help care and provide for HIV patients during the coronavirus pandemic.

The program is called Extension for Community Healthcare Outcomes (ECHO).

“We are providing telemedicine encounters either by phone or by video and audio. We are doing this across a lot of HIV clinics,” said Dr. Wari Allison, UT Health San Antonio and the San Antonio AIDS Foundation (SAAF).
